Destin Beach, Florida

destin beach floridaThe weather was beautiful down in Florida. Our last stop in the 'Sunshine State' was Destin and its pristine white beaches.

Though a well-known tourist site, Destin was amazingly clean and free of litter. Sand dunes would extend for miles without a speck of garbage in sight. Indeed, its unspoiled quality was as impressive if not more so than the appearance of the beach itself. But then again, the expansive white sand dunes really make Destin unique.

And what made the day even more appealing was that the sun was out. And oh, how I love the sun! =) With an almost cloudless sky and blindingly white sand, the sun rays reflectively beamed from all directions; hence, the squinting in the photos.

Destin made for a perfect last stop before heading out of Florida. The rays of energy made for a great boost before my upcoming migration.
