Manny Pacquiao Ion Power Bracelet? BAD Idea

manny pacquiao braceletI recently read some news about Manny Pacquiao's camp planning to come out with a new product--apparently, a Manny Pacquiao-branded ion power bracelet. I am a Manny Pacquiao fan, so I was quite disappointed to hear about it, but it more likely could be Manny Pacquiao's camp who's more on top of this deal than Manny Pacquiao himself. After already discovering the FusionExcel Quantum Pendant Scam and with Power Balance recently admitting that their top-selling bracelet product is a sham, I can't stress enough how this is a very bad move by Manny Pacquiao's camp if they indeed push through with it.

Fortunately, the contracts have not been finalized, yet. Let's hope they never do. I understand that business is business, but deceiving people to believe in and waste money on a useless product is another thing. Manny Pacquiao doesn't need the extra money anyways.  Instead, he needs to protect his name and his camp needs to learn to make a living of their own and stop manipulating and leeching off of him.

Below is the excerpt regarding the prospective 'Mannny Pacquiao Ion Power Bracelet' deal as taken from mpboxing.com:

Upon learning about the creation of MPBoxing Incorporated, Michael Ayer of RiginAir Company, Sales & Marketing arm for Ionlite International approached Timothy James with his patent pending Power Bracelet, offering Manny Pacquiao and MPBoxing Incorporated a seven-figure deal.

Michael Ayer, broker for the Manny Pacquiao Edition Ion Power Bracelet deal, has announced that contracts are being finalized this week with the bracelets on schedule to hit the market in March 2011. Michael boasted, “The Manny Pacquiao Ion Power Bracelet is so unique with it’s Patent-Pending design, that we look forward to standing way-out in the global balance bracelet market.”

Note: This contract has not yet been finalized. Neither Michael Ayer, or IonLite have the permission to use this article for personal use, or for the use of promoting this product, as they do not have the legal rights to use Manny Pacquiao’s name, likeness or image, until all contracts granting permission to do so have been signed. There is no product that has been created yet, as contracts have not been signed.

Haha, this is the modern "anting anting" using pseudo-science instead of magical spiritual powers. Do they have peer reviewed scientific journals on this? did anyone get nominated for a Nobel prize? How many people actually understand what an ion is? Scientific illiteracy is a huge problem today, even here in the United States. Corporate interest use obfuscation and scientific technical lingo to obscure the truth.

Another scam! If this thing come out, I 'm not sure if I could still watch Manny's fight. From boxing to scamming.
