Titanic ~ The Coconuter

The ship is slowly sinking. I know it. It's gotten to the point that I am getting tempted to encash the checks as a lifeline. But I am trying to hang in there a little longer, to see if I can give everyone the life rafts they need to float comfortably and make it safely on their own.

Deep down, I am not really the grand captain or the privileged elite. I am just a Jack. I am not rich in wealth, but I am rich in passion and experiences.

I am not lucky, I just try my best. I know what emptiness feels like, and it's partly why the simple joys of life are what I appreciate the most.

I am strong, I can keep you safe, but I have tragic flaws and weak points. I am not dumb, and I am not cold-hearted, but I am sometimes blind.

I am a tiger, I am a lion. I'll never back down from any male. And I will never surrender.

My nature is romantic and sacrificial. Love is what I value the most, and it's also what kills me if it isn't there. Steal my heart, and watch me bleed, if you did not intend to take care of it.

Maybe I am quiet sometimes, but emotions run the deepest in me. We are just tiny specks in a vast ocean, but still, I care. I feel. If there is no meaning, then everything is for nothing.

I am just flesh and blood, but for as long as I am able, I will protect, I will fight, I will help, and I will never let go.
